SEAS offers a number of reasonably priced sailing courses, taught
by Red Cross Certified Instructors.
Local courses are available at each of the chapters, with some offerings
exclusive to members (another great reason to join us!).
- Basic Sailing Course
- This is our most popular course, and teaches 'the basics'.
- Keelboat Sailing Course
(members only)
- This may be the next step in your sailing curriculum, as you step up
to a larger boat.
- Cruising Course (members
only)
- When you've decided that you are truly a 'Sailor', and that the
sailors life is for you, you will want to take this course, which will help
prepare you for your first extended cruise.
- Instructor Certification
(members only)
- You just can't get enough pleasure out of seeing the faces of that
person you just taught how to sail, and want to get certified to teach the
formal Basic Sailing Course (yes, it'll happen to you too!).
- First Aid Courses
- SEAS offers Red Cross Certification in many first aid courses, such
as CPR, AED, & First Aid.
- New Jersey Safe Boating Course
- SEAS Monmouth is a fully accredited School and Testing authority for
the State of New Jersey.
