| | To get to Monksville Reservoir NORTH RAMP:
From Bergen County
- Route 208 North to 287 South.
- Take Exit 57 (Skyline Drive) and bear right up the hill.
- Follow Skyline Drive past the shopping center to the stop
sign.
- Bear left to the next stop sign.
- Turn right onto Greenwood Lake Turnpike. Wanaque Reservoir is on the
left. Go approximately 5 miles.
- Continue until you see the Monksville Dam. After the dam, continue
past the first launch area and parking lot.
- Go past the shopping area on left and turn left at the Long Pond
Ironworks State Park. This is the second parking and launch
area for Monksville Reservoir.
From Route 23
- Take Union Valley Road (Route 513) approx. six miles
- Bear right onto Marshall Hill Road, which becomes Greenwood Lake Turnpike
(Route 511).
- Turn Right at Long Pond Ironworks State Park.
To get to Monksville Reservoir SOUTH RAMP:
From Bergen County
- Route 208 North to 287 South.
- Take Exit 57 (Skyline Drive) and bear right up the hill.
- Follow Skyline Drive past the shopping center to the stop
sign.
- Bear left to the next stop sign.
- Turn right onto Greenwood Lake Turnpike. Wanaque Reservoir is on the
left. Go approximately 5 miles.
- Continue until you see the Monksville Dam. After the dam, turn into
the first launch area and parking lot. (SOUTH RAMP)

From Route 23

(NORTH RAMP) for approximately 1/2 mile
- Continue past the shopping center on the right
- Turn right at the sign for the SOUTH RAMP
- If you see the reservoir on your right, you've gone too far. There's
an area you can turn around at, next right.
