Cruising opportunities are available several times each year. This is a great way to have a good time, while sailing and getting to know each other in a beautiful, far-off locale, with the abandonment not possible at home. You have two options;
============================================================================ THE 2008 SCHEDULE Upcoming Planned cruises: It's time for our annual Columbus Day weekend Chesapeake cruise. The summer heat is subsiding, the autumn winds are picking up, and the Chesapeake is once again calling. Autumn Chesapeake sailing can be a really exciting experience! Every year this cruise is a fun-filled adventure, and, a great sailing learning experience. This year SEAS has six boats, including boats for the cruising course, the first mates course, and the cruise. The total crew on these boats, which are typically in the upper 30 ft range, will be up to 32 people -- the makings for a great social event at boat raft-ups and going to shore! You may remember sitting at dockside restaurants in Annapolis or St. Michaels, or even New Jersey, watching boats dock and sailors disembarking, wondering what it would be like to be part of it all. Well, here's your chance! Our travels will take us to Annapolis, St. Michaels, or Baltimore Inner Harbor. The itinerary will begin on Friday evening, October 10, with your arrival at the boats in Rock Hall MD's Haven Marina, perhaps after a day at the Annapolis Boat Show just across the Bay. We will depart on Saturday, October 11, for our three-day cruise, returning on Monday, October 13, in the late afternoon. We'll spend one evening with our six boats tied together and anchored in a quiet cove watching the sunset and sipping cocktails, and the other evening at one of the Chesapeake's bustling ports -- Annapolis, St. Michaels, or Baltimore Inner Harbor. The cost of the three-day cruise is $269.07, which includes the charter costs and the SEAS Monmouth cruising fee. The per-person cost of food and incidentals is extra (approximately $40-50). Also, there is a refundable security deposit of $175 required. These costs are for the cruise. Contact Lary or Jack for cost details for the courses.
